Baptist Health hospitals in North Little Rock and Conway recently welcomed new members to their leadership teams.

At Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock, Kimberly Walker, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, has accepted the position of chief nursing officer. 

Walker joins the healing ministry with nearly 25 years of nursing experience. She most recently served as divisional chief nursing officer over two facilities in Slidell, La.: Ochsner Medical Center - North Shore and Slidell Memorial Hospital.

The UA Little Rock Center for Simulation Innovation in the School of Nursing has been internationally recognized for excellence in nursing simulation education.

The Center for Simulation Innovation (CSI) has received the 2023 Frontline Simulation Champion Excellence Award from the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL), an association dedicated to advancing the science of healthcare simulation.

Walmart and Sam's Club have announced the commencement of their annual campaign to change kids’ health through Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals.

Running through July 14, this initiative aims to raise funds to support the 170 CMN Hospitals across the United States and Canada. Every dollar raised at most Arkansas stores and clubs will directly benefit Arkansas Children's Hospital and Arkansas Children's Northwest, the CMN Hospitals in the state.

Emily Reams, MD, recently joined Baptist Health Family Clinic-Lonoke.

Reams received a medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She later completed residency training in family medicine and community health at the University of Kansas.
