Jay Quebedeaux Named Baptist Health’s Pr...

Baptist Health recently promoted Jay Quebedeaux to the role of president of regional hospitals for Baptist Health. 

Quebedeaux will now have operational responsibilities for all five of the health care system’s regional facilities in Arkadelphia, Heber Springs, Malvern, Monticello, and Stuttgart. All Baptist Health regional hospital presidents will report to Quebedeaux. 

He will continue to serve as the president for Baptist Health Medical Center-Hot Spring County and Baptist Health Medical Center-Arkadelphia.

UAMS Brain Injury Program to Offer Free...

The UAMS Institute for Digital Health and Innovation’s Brain Injury Program will host a virtual workshop on Aug. 15 to connect anyone affected by a traumatic brain injury (TBI) to helpful resources and support.

Bilal Saqi, MD, Joins CHI St. Vincent He...

CHI St. Vincent announced that electrophysiologist Bilal Saqi, MD, has joined the team of specialists at the CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic in North Little Rock.

Saqi joins CHI St. Vincent from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colo., where he completed an electrophysiology fellowship. Previously, he completed a cardiology fellowship at Lehigh Valley Health Network/University of South Florida College of Medicine. His extensive experience includes an internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.

Baptist Health announced the promotions of two Baptist Health corporate fellows to new positions within the healing ministry.

Destiney Walker has been named director of business operations for patient navigation. Randon Carlton is now director of hospital operations for Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart and Baptist Health Medical Center-Heber Springs.
