Arkansas Urology has announced the opening of the Arkansas Urology Diagnostic & Treatment Center at its Little Rock clinic. Equipped with a Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) scanner and an advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner, the center will allow Arkansas Urology to provide more efficient care to its patients.
Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) celebrated the investiture of four physicians in a ceremony at CALS Ron Robinson Theater on April 26.
Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) Auxiliary hosted a la Carte on April 13, featuring 25 dining establishments across central Arkansas. The tasting event raised more than $100,000 in net proceeds which will provide critical funds needed to support expert pediatric care at ACH.
More than 500 people attended the annual event, which was held in person for the first time since 2019.
DJ Jelly Bean provided music for the occasion while patrons danced and mingled in the Angel One Transport Hangar, a new venue for the event.
Harding University has announced it will offer a new degree format for its Master of Science in cardiac function and interventional technology tailored to working professionals in the industry starting this fall. The part-time, hybrid format is called the Master of Science in Cardiac Function and Interventional Technology - Professional Pathway, also known as CFIT-Pro. This intensive 38 credit hour program will be delivered primarily online with one in-person weekend per semester.
