The Arkansas Department of Health and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) are partnering with Count the Kicks, an evidence-based stillbirth prevention campaign, to educate expectant parents in Arkansas about the importance of tracking a baby’s movements daily in the third trimester of pregnancy.
April Kranz has accepted the position of Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for Conway Regional Health System. Kranz's first day at Conway Regional was Dec. 27, 2022. Kranz was selected after a nationwide search that CommonSpirit Health facilitated.
CHI St. Vincent Morrilton was designated for the third time as a “Pathway to Excellence” hospital, maintaining its distinction as the first and only hospital in Arkansas to receive the “Pathway to Excellence” recognition for its exceptional nursing care. The designation is awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
A group to help children ages 6-12 better cope with a parent’s cancer diagnosis is set to begin Feb. 8 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute
CLIMB, which stands for Children’s Lives Include Moments of Bravery, will be offered from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesdays from Feb. 8-March 15 at the UAMS Cancer Institute.
