Science Café Little Rock, co-sponsored by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences(UAMS), will hold its next public forum, CSI & Evidence Collection, on May 22. Panelists will discuss crime scene best practices, types of evidence, collection methods, and how society defines and responds to crime.
This month’s panel will include Bob Lytle, PhD, assistant professor, department of criminal justice, University of Arkansas at Little Rock; Payton Tucker, agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Little Rock; and Meagan Buchert, Crime Scene Search Unit, Little Rock Police Department.
Dorothy Graves, associate director for administration of the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, will moderate the event.
The Science Café will be held from 7-9 p.m. at Hibernia Irish Tavern, 9700 N. Rodney Parham Road.
The event is a relaxed opportunity for monthly exchanges with various experts. No reservations are needed, but seating is limited. Admission is free.
