Arkansas Department of Health to Showcase Students’ Artwork in Public Health Week Event

The Arkansas Department of Health has partnered with the Cabot School District to highlight artwork from students in second through fourth grade in ADH’s yearly Public Health Week poster. These drawings, part of an annual contest in Lonoke County, show students’ ideas about what it means to make healthy choices.

The artwork will be featured April 2 at 9 a.m. in the Cabot School District Central Administration Office boardroom, 602 North Lincoln St. in Cabot.

ADH Deputy Director for Programs Stephanie Williams and Cabot School District Superintendent Dr. Tony Thurman will recognize the students and discuss public health priorities for ADH in honor of National Public Health Week.
