Tickets are now on sale for the 41st annual CARTI Auxiliary Festival of Trees, a four-day series of holiday events, which are scheduled for Nov. 15-18 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.
With a theme of “’Twas the Nights Before Christmas,” the CARTI Auxiliary Festival of Trees serves as the umbrella title for a slate of four individual events, all centered around seasonal celebrations benefiting CARTI, and its statewide network of cancer care facilities.
From the elegantly attired to the whimsically clever, a veritable "forest" of elaborately decorated trees, once again, serves as the focal point of the festival. Free general viewing, “Stroll Through the Forest,” is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17.
The official Festival of Trees list of events includes:
● Sugar Plum Ball. Visions of sugar plums dance, not only in the head, but also on the dance floor at this classic daddy-daughter date nigh,t where each little princess, and the Prince Charming of her choice, step into a storybook setting for an evening of dining, dancing, tiaras, party favors,, and ballet dancers while mixing and mingling with Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as the newly-crowned Mrs. Arkansas. Ticket sales are limited, and typically sell out early. The event is slated for Nov. 15 from 6-8:30 p.m., and tickets are 50 each.
● Festival After Dark. Holiday spirits will be "merry and bright" at this event, where guests dress in all- black or all- white. The event is slated for Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. (Doors open at 5 p.m.) Tickets are $50 each.
