The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) experts spoke about the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson’s Plus syndrome at their third annual Parkinson’s Symposium on April 2.
Subjects included alternative therapies, social needs and caregiving, fitness, Tai Chi and deep brain stimulation.
Erika Petersen, MD, and other UAMS speakers were featured during the event which was held in the Jo Ellen Ford Auditorium at the UAMS Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
