Lauren Blansett, an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN), has joined Conway Regional Health System. She is in practice at Greenbrier Family Medicine with James Fulmer, MD, and Jarrod Jerry, APRN.
Blansett, a native of Conway, holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center at Memphis. She has a bachelor of science degree in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She worked as a registered nurse at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock for five years prior to becoming an advanced practice registered nurse.
Blansett said the stint as a cardiology nurse help her realize that “I wanted to be able to take care of all aspects of care, and strive to help patients achieve optimum health.” She added, “My goal has always been to serve a local population. I knew Greenbrier was the place for me after meeting the staff and seeing how well they took care of their patients. Everyone working here treats the patients like family and truly cares about them. My co-workers and patients have made me feel very welcomed and I cannot imagine a better place to work.”
