NARMC’s McCutchen is Arkansas Outstanding Nurse Educator Nominee

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) announced that Delbert McCutchen, MSN, RN, AEMT, director of employee education, has been nominated for the recognition of Arkansas’ Outstanding Nurse Educator 2023. 

As a nurse educator for more than 19 years, McCutchen started teaching CPR in 1992 and received a nursing degree in 2004. In 2010, he was the AR Saves Nurse Facilitator of the Year, and in 2018 was a nominee for Compassionate Nurse of the Year.

Delbert leads the NARMC Education Department which provides education experience to the public and other healthcare providers. 

Donna Boehm, NARMC chief nursing officer, said, “Delbert consistently demonstrates a passion for teaching, mentorship, and innovation.  He embodies the spirit of nursing education, shaping competent and compassionate caregivers who will make a difference in the lives of patients and their families. His contribution not only enriches our hospital but also influences the broader nursing community. We are very proud of Delbert and glad to have him on our NARMC team.”
