Baptist Health Urgent Care opened at 14524 Cantrell Road, next to Senor Tequila restaurant in West Little Rock.
The center is open seven days a week and offers evening hours during the work week, for added convenience. Walk-ins are welcome or online scheduling is available with Hold My Spot.
Leading the healthcare team are nurse practitioners Heath Houtchens and Deshondra Ingram.
Houtchens graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Harding University Carr College of Nursing in Searcy. His recent experience includes post-surgical care for orthopedic and spine patients. Ingram, who earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, brings experience treating patients of all ages with a variety of healthcare needs.
There are eight Baptist Health Urgent Care centers throughout the state. All of the centers are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
