Jeff Risinger Promoted to UAMS Vice Chancellor for Human Resources

Jeff Risinger, PhD, MBA, has been promoted to vice chancellor for human resources at the  University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).

He has served as associate vice chancellor for human resources since coming to UAMS in 2014.

Before joining UAMS, Risinger served for 11 years in the Senior Executive Service of the U.S. Government. During this time, he served as the chief human capital officer at the Securities Exchange Commission and the Federal Housing Finance Agency in Washington, D.C. Prior to his federal service, Risinger served in HR executive roles in the private sector.

Risinger recently received a doctorate in human resource and organizational development from the University of Texas in Tyler, Texas. He holds master’s degrees in business administration from Texas A&M University and in industrial/organizational psychology from Louisiana Tech University.
