Adam Cox, MD, an Internal Medicine specialist, has joined the medical staff of Conway Regional Health System.
Dr. Cox will begin practice alongside John Dobbs, MD, and Meghan Mallett, APRN, at Conway Regional Medical Clinic-Prince St., beginning Oct.2. Dr. Cox is board certified in Internal Medicine.
“Dr. Cox has expertise in a medical specialty that is currently in high demand for Conway, and the surrounding areas. The addition of Dr. Cox is a testament to our commitment to providing the community with needed specialties,” said Rebekah Fincher, Corporate Director of Physician Relations and Business Development. Internal Medicine Specialist Bill Roberts retired from his practice earlier this year, decreasing the number of internal medicine options for Conway patients.
Dr. Cox completed a three-year residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University, and holds a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UCA.
“I first discovered Conway when I came to UCA for my undergraduate education. I found it to be a fun, vibrant town, that was growing rapidly. After deciding to come back to Arkansas, my wife and I knew Conway would be the perfect location to establish roots for our family,” said Dr. Cox. “The staff at Conway Regional have been friendly, and exceptionally helpful in welcoming us into the community. I can't wait to start my new practice, providing access to primary care to the growing population of the region.”
