CHI St. Vincent's Tessie Bell, RN, Given Arkansas Diamond Award from Secretary of State's Office

Tessie Bell, a registered nurse at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary, was recently recognized with the Arkansas Diamond Award from the Secretary of State's Office for her contributions to the community and quality service.

She has worked at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary for more than 50 years as a surgical nurse. A Venezuela native, she attended boarding school at Mount St. Mary Academy in Little Rock and went on to earn her RN diploma from St. Vincent in 1967. At that time, she started working at the Infirmary, and she continues to do so.

She has also participated in and led multiple medical mission trips to Honduras, most recently in June of this year.
