CHI St. Vincent and UnitedHealthcare announced today they have now finalized the terms of an agreement to continue access for all UnitedHealthcare employer-sponsored and individual health plans to CHI St. Vincent hospitals, physicians and other services. The new contract also includes Medicare health plans, giving more members in the community access to CHI St. Vincent hospitals and physicians.
“We are pleased to be able to provide uninterrupted healthcare services to the patients we serve throughout Arkansas,” said Chad Aduddell, CEO of CHI St. Vincent. “As we work towards developing new models of care focused on higher quality and lower costs, it is important we receive fair and reasonable payments to continue our ministry. We believe our continued relationship with UnitedHealthcare allows the two of us to work together to better serve the needs of our patients."
“We are grateful for the commitment CHI St. Vincent has made to value-based health care and look forward to working together to help people receive personalized and more connected care,” said Greg Reidy, CEO, UnitedHealthcare of Arkansas.
