Arkansas Hospice announced the promotion of Anita Deal to the new position of Senior Director of Clinical Services. In the new position, Deal will serve as clinical lead “to enhance our care and service at all locations,” according to Arkansas Hospice COO Robin Hayes. The move was effective Oct. 15.
A 26-year veteran of nursing with more than 20 years in hospice care, Deal joined Arkansas Hospice as a PRN RN in 2009 at the Conway area office, and has held multiple positions within the company, most recently serving as the Program Director over the Central, Conway, Searcy, and Batesville Area Offices, as well as the Little Rock Inpatient Center.
In April, Arkansas Hospice expanded into Norwest Arkansas, serving patients within a 50-mile radius of a new location in Berryville, which it acquired from Mercy.
