Conway Regional Health System has launched an online, self-scheduling portal for patients seeking non-life threatening medical care in the hospital’s emergency department or after hours clinic. The hospital is the first medical center in central Arkansas to implement such a system, with the goal of reducing wait times for patients, and potentially providing them with a more comfortable and convenient overall experience.
UAMS Medical Center’s electronic medical records system has been awarded the second-highest ranking available from a health care industry advisory firm that evaluates institutions from across the globe.

Yoga has been shown to improve health through both physical exercise and mindfulness.
On July 10, the Arkansas Yoga Collective will discuss Tibetan nun Pema Chodron’s book, When Things Fall Apart, in its “Tomes and Tea” Book Club Meeting. The event will take place from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Tea and snacks will be provided. Feel free to bring finger foods, if you wish to share. This is a free, open event, and all are welcome.
