The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) is warning of a possible Hepatitis A (Hep A) exposure after an employee of the Doublebee’s gas station in Walnut Ridge, Ark., located at 1003 Hwy 63, tested positive for the virus. Hep A is a contagious liver disease.
Nicki Hilliard, PharmD, a pharmacy professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), recently became the first Arkansan to serve as president of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), the largest pharmacy professional organization. Hilliard will serve for the 2018-2019 term.
Hilliard is a professor in the College of Pharmacy Department of Pharmacy Practice.
