Baptist Health announced the promotions of two Baptist Health corporate fellows to new positions within the healing ministry.

Destiney Walker has been named director of business operations for patient navigation. Randon Carlton is now director of hospital operations for Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart and Baptist Health Medical Center-Heber Springs.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) will provide contraceptive services and reproductive health education to women living in rural Arkansas counties in an effort to prevent unintended pregnancies and to improve access to women’s healthcare in Arkansas.

Joni Stephenson has been promoted to corporate vice president of human resources for Baptist Health. She has been in human resources roles since 2003, including 16 years at Baptist Health, where she began in central staffing nurse recruitment in 2005.

The CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute was listed as the No. 1 heart program in Arkansas for the fourth consecutive year, while the CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, and CHI St. Vincent North each received prestigious recognitions on the list across multiple categories of care.
