CHI St. Vincent announced that Avnish Tripathi, MD, has joined the team of cardiologists at the CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute. Tripathi will begin seeing patients at the Unity Health Cardiology Clinic in Searcy which focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions of the heart and vascular systems. The clinic is located at 711 Santa Fe Drive.
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) broke ground today on a nearly $10 million Child Development Center on a four-acre property in Little Rock.
The approximately 20,000-square-foot Child Development Center will be built at the intersection of 11th and Monroe streets, just south of the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library and across Interstate 630 from the UAMS campus. The facility is expected to open in spring 2024.
CHI St. Vincent Morrilton has received the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline® STEMI Referring Center Gold Plus recognition for its commitment to ensuring science-based treatment for all people experiencing a specific type of heart attack known as an ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), known to be more severe and dangerous than other types of heart attacks.
Amr Ismail, MD, a pulmonologist, has joined the Conway Regional Multispecialty Clinic and is accepting new patients.
Ismail completed a pulmonology and critical care fellowship and a residency in internal medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. He holds a medical degree from Alexandria University in Egypt and is certified in internal medicine.
CHI St. Vincent announced that Mariah O’Sullivan, MD, an otolaryngologist focused on medical conditions affecting the ears, nose, and throat, has joined the team of physicians at CHI St. Vincent ENT Clinic in Hot Springs. She is currently seeing patients at the clinic located at 1 Mercy Lane, Suite 106.
