The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) has designated each of Baptist Health's regional hospitals as an Arkansas Stroke Ready Hospital (ArSRH) as part of a collaborative pilot program with Baptist Health Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

W. James Chon, MD, has been named medical director of the Renal Transplant Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Chon will also serve as an associate professor of medicine in the College of Medicine.
