The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) 12th St. Health & Wellness Center invites girls ages 10-18 to participate on Feb. 3 in "The Confidence Project," which will cover topics from women’s health and social wellness to physical wellness and mental health.
The free, one-day class will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the center, located at 4010 W. 12th St. Lunch will be provided.
Individual clinicians and group practices participating in the Quality Payment Program (QPP) can submit their 2017 performance data through March 31 at https://qpp.cms.gov/login, eliminating the need to submit the data on multiple websites, according to information from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Science Café Little Rock, co-sponsored by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), will focus on "The Science of Social Media" on Jan. 23. Panelists will discuss the positives and negatives of social media as a widely used global communications and employment recruiting tool.
The public forum will be from 7-9 p.m. at Hibernia Irish Tavern, 9700 N. Rodney Parham Road.
