Healthy Active Arkansas (HAA) recognized the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport for their newly created “Mother’s Room” for mothers who need to breastfeed their children or pump while visiting the airport. This is the second breastfeeding space at the Clinton National Airport. The first was a room for nursing airport employees.

The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has been awarded full accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Physical Therapy Education, allowing graduates to be eligible to become licensed in their profession.

The program, part of the Department of Physical Therapy in the College of Health Professions, is housed at the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus in Fayetteville. Such programs go through several steps to become accredited, culminating with the final accreditation as the first class gets ready to graduate.

Marey, who completed residencies at State University of New York Downstate Health Science Center and Tufts University Medical Center in Massachusetts, is fellowship trained in advanced aortic surgery from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.
