Three computer workshops — One-on-One Computer Support, Facebook Workshop, and File Management — will be taught in April for people ages 50 and older at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.

The Facebook Workshop will be offered free of charge. Courses begin June 5.

The schedule is:

· One-on-One Computer Support, Mondays and Wednesdays, June 5-28; Call for appointment.

· Facebook Workshop, June 16, 10-11:30 a.m.

· File Management, June 20 and 22, 10 a.m. to noon.

Arkansas Children's shared today how it is reaching more children in more ways to improve the health of the state's 710,000 children, promising care where children live, learn, and play.

A $2.1 million award from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) will allow the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus to continue and expand its research to identify effective ways to combat diabetes in the Marshallese community.
