Kalena Jones recently joined Baptist Health as system director of Arkansas Health and Opportunity for Me (ARHOME), a health program through the Arkansas Department of Human Services that focuses on improving the lives of three at-risk populations:

-High-risk pregnant and new moms and babies;

-Arkansans living in rural communities facing mental health and substance use disorders; and

Baptist Health has reached a definitive agreement to add Drew Memorial Health System in Monticello to the Baptist Health system. The acquisition will be subject to customary regulatory approvals, and in the interim, Baptist Health will immediately begin managing Drew Memorial Health System’s general operations.

The Washington Regional J.B. Hunt Transport Services Cancer Support Home will offer free clinical breast exams during a breast health clinic on Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. – noon. The clinic will be held at The Breast Center, a MANA Clinic, 55 W. Sunbridge Dr. in Fayetteville. Space is limited and appointments are required.
