46 MAY / JUN 2025 I HEALTHCARE JOURNAL OF ARKANSAS NURSING Final Thoughts Resiliency in nursing leadership can have lasting effects on an organization. Nurse leaders, as the key influencers in patient care, need training to build a resil- ient team. By combining formal education, social support, and meaningful recogni- tion, creating a resilient nurse leader is an achievable strategy. Implementing inter- ventions and engaging nurse leaders in the process can provide a sense of teamwork and ownership, all of which can positively influence the workplace. 24 Since nurse leaders’ actions can signifi- cantly impact their nurses’ behaviors and the patients’ overall care experience, fos- tering resiliency is not just a task, but a re- sponsibility that must be promoted for the organization’s sustainability. n REFERENCES 1 Sihvola, S., Kvist, T., & Nurmeksela, A.
