The team of providers at the CHI St. Vincent Primary Care Clinic cares for adults and children, including wellness checks and preventative med- icine, helping to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, and helping patients coordinate care between specialists. Kayla Bond, APRN, Joins Conway Regional Cardiovascular Clinic Kayla Bond, APRN, has joined the Conway Regional Cardiovascular Clinic. She will be in practice with Don Steely, MD, Rimsha Hasan, MD, Yalcin Hacioglu, MD, and Ronak Soni, MD, as well as Alexa Shipp, APRN, Gray Wagnon, APRN, and Felicia Johnson, APRN. Bond holds a Master of Science in adult-geron- tology primary care from the University of Arkan- sas for Medical Sciences and a Bachelor of Sci- ence in nursing from Harding University in Searcy. She has practiced in Central Arkansas as both an APRN and an RN since 2012, including in cardiac, orthopedic, and medical surgical nursing at Con- way Regional. The Conway Regional cardiovascular clinic medical staff treats patients who have risks or symptoms of cardiovascular diseases, such as heart failure, heart attacks, angina, and heart valve problems. They also treat patients with leg pain and peripheral artery disease, a common circulatory problem in which narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the limbs. Orthopedic Surgeon Joins Conway Regional Clinic Bryan Head, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, has joined the practice of Conway Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center and is accepting new patients. He has joined an orthopedics and sports med- icine practice that includes orthopedic surgeons Grant Bennett, MD, J. Tod Ghormley, MD, Scott Smith, MD, Jay Howell, MD, James Head, MD, and Robert McCarron, MD. “We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Bryan Head back to Central Arkansas,” said Rebekah Fincher, chief administrative officer for the health system. “Dr. Head’s expertise will continue to expand orthopedic services to meet the growing needs of the communities we serve.” “This is a great opportunity for me to come back to Conway and practice alongside my brother and the other talented orthopedic sur- geons at Conway Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Center,” said Head. “I’m grateful to Conway Regional for this opportunity.” Head completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity from the Baylor College of Medicine and an orthopedic surgery residency at Baylor, Scott and White in Temple, Texas. He achieved a medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. The specialists at Conway Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center treat a wide range of ail- ments, including specialized care for the hand, upper extremity, foot, and ankle; minimally invasive surgeries of the knee and hand; total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements; and sports medicine services. Conway Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Cen- ter is located at 550 Club Lane. Sunny Singh, MD, NamedDirector of UAMS Baptist Health Cancer Center in North Little Rock Sunny R. K. Singh, MD, has joined the Univer- sity of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Win- throp P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute as a hema- tologist/oncologist and director of the UAMS Baptist Health Cancer Center in North Little Rock. Singh oversees all operations at the satellite cancer center jointly operated by the UAMS Win- throp P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and Baptist Health. The center, which includes radiation ther- apy, medical oncology, and an infusion clinic, is located at the Baptist Health Springhill Med- ical Plaza, 3401 Springhill Drive in North Little Rock. Singh joins a team of medical and radia- tion oncologists, nurses, and radiation therapists from UAMS. Fellowship trained in hematology and oncology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and at UAMS, Singh has expertise in treating various cancers and blood disorders. He was chief resident at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago.
