Q&A 16 SEP / OCT 2021 I HEALTHCARE JOURNAL OF ARKANSAS Q&A with STEVEN WEBB Unity Health President/CEO Born in Searcy and raised throughout Arkansas and Mississippi, from an early age, Steven Webb had a desire to meet the needs of those around him. While working full time at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Webb pursued a Master of Health Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He then completed a post-graduate administrative fellowship atWhite County Medical Center (now Unity Health). As Webb fulfills his third year at the helm, Unity Health stands as a haven for healthcare. In the last few decades, the organization has grown from a county hospital to an integrated health system consisting of three hospital campuses (soon to be four) and more than 20 clinics serving communities in eight counties. Unity Health is also a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network and home to the second largest graduate medical education program in the state.
