MatthewBurn, MD, Brings Orthopedic Surgery Specialty to OrthoArkansas Matthew Burn, MD, has joined OrthoArkansas, where he specializes in pediatric and adult hand, wrist, forearm and elbow surgery. OrthoArkan- sas, with 10 locations across the state, specializes in head-to-toe comprehensive orthopedic care. Burn is board-certified in orthopedic surgery, having completed a fellowship in hand and upper limb surgery. He has advanced training in wrist arthroscopy, nerve conditions, and microsurgery. He earned a medical degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana, before mov- ing to Houston, Texas, for orthopedic surgery training at Houston Methodist Hospital. He com- pleted a hand and upper limb fellowship at Stan- ford University in Palo Alto, California. He returned to Houston where he trained orthopedic surgeons and was on staff at Hous- ton Methodist Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children - Houston. Dominic Maggio, MD, Joins Legacy Spine & Neurological Specialists Legacy Spine & Neurological Specialists (Legacy) announces the addition of Dominic Maggio, MD, to its team of neurosurgeons and spine focused neurologists. Burrell Behavioral Health NowOffering Youth Psychiatry Services in NWA With the hiring of Holly Hunter, MD, in North- west Arkansas, Burrell Behavioral Health is now providing psychiatry services for children, teens and young adults in the region. Hunter comes to Burrell Behavioral Health with expertise in treating trauma, depression, and early onset schizophrenia in children and adoles- cents. She studied at Louisiana State University and Mississippi College before receiving a med- ical degree from LSU School of Medicine. She completed a residency and fellowship practices at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. “I believe that my job is to understand, educate, provide support (medicinal or otherwise), validate the human experience, celebrate successes, and encourage continued growth and self-explora- tion,” Hunter said. “Dr. Hunter will provide amazing and much needed services that are hard to find in the area,” said Elizabeth Avery, president of the Arkansas region of Burrell Behavioral Health. “She is truly taking Burrell to the next level in providing comprehensive trauma-informed care for youth in Northwest Arkansas.” Megan Albers, PA-C, Joins East Springdale Family Clinic Megan Albers, PA-C, recently joined the Wash- ington Regional East Springdale Family Clinic, where she works with Matthew Totten, MD, and F. Levi Hudson, PA-C, to provide primary care ser- vices for older adults and children. Albers earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Harding University. She is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Baptist Health La Clínica del Pueblo Opens for Spanish- Speaking Community Baptist Health recently opened a primary care clinic in Fort Smith that aims to help eliminate language barriers for Spanish-speaking residents seeking healthcare services in the River Valley. Wilson Cruz, MD, is now accepting new patients at Baptist Health La Clínica del Pueblo, located at 4700 Kelley Highway, Suite B. While the clinic is open to anyone, Cruz and his staff are all able to speak both English and Spanish in hopes of eliminating the communication issues patients often have and will also allow the patient to speak directly to their healthcare providers instead of depending on a family member to translate.
