He also serves as CARTI’s medical director of clinical research. Dr. Patel completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Arkan- sas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and a residen- cy in internal medicine at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University at Harlem Hos- pital Center in New York, New York. He received his medical degree from Government Medical College in Surat, India.
