He com- pleted a fellowship training in clinical neurophysi- ology at the University of Michigan. The CHI St. Vincent Neurology Clinic in Hot Springs provides care to patients with diseases of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. The clinic specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a vast range of neurological con- ditions affecting adults, delivering comprehen- sive and individualized patient care with the goal of maintaining optimal brain and nerve function. Jonathan Rushing is Arkansas Urology New Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Rushing of Little Rock has joined Arkansas Urology as chief operating officer. Rushing joins Arkansas Urology after having spent most of his career in healthcare manage- ment. For the last 14 years, he has been at Baptist Health in leadership roles which include manag- ing clinical trials, serving as a regional and asso- ciate vice president for clinic operations and most recently serving as a member of the West- ern Region leadership team. Prior to working at Baptist Health, Rushing served in various capaci- ties for Easter Seals, Inc. in Texarkana, Tex., which included serving as the nonprofit organization’s executive director. “We are thrilled to have Jonathan Rushing join the Arkansas Urology team as our new chief oper- ating officer,” said E. Scot Davis, CEO of Arkansas Urology. “As we continue to grow and expand our services across the state, it will be an asset to have Jonathan’s experience in many key areas such as leadership, human resources, and operations. We know that his energy and enthusiasm for health- care will be very beneficial to the employees, phy- sicians, and patients of Arkansas Urology.” A native of Crossett, Ark., Jonathan has a Bach- elor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas and will complete a MBA at Southern Arkansas University in the fall of 2020. “To have someone with such diverse experi- ence as Jonathan is exciting for Arkansas Urol- ogy,” said Tim Langford, MD, president of Arkansas Urology. “His track record with compli- ance, acquisitions, and operations will benefit our staff and patients as we continue to look for ways to grow and expand for all Arkansans.” Specialists JoinMercy Clinic in Northwest Arkansas Three new specialists joined Mercy Clinic in Northwest Arkansas. Bruno Pereira, MD, has joined Mercy Clinic Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine – Phy- sicians Plaza. He earned a PhD in neurosciences and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at University of Alabama – Birmingham School of Medicine. Pereira is board-certified in pulmonary disease by the American Board of Internal Med- icine and is board-eligible in critical care medi- cine. Additionally, he has training in pulmonary subspecialties, including sarcoidosis and intersti- tial lung disease. He is fluent in Portuguese and speaks conversational Spanish. Mercy Clinic Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine – Physicians Plaza is located at 2708 S. Rife Medical Lane, Suite T20, in Rogers. Christopher Miller, MD, and Pardha Devaki, MD, have joined Mercy Clinic Gastroenterology – Phy- sicians Plaza, also located at 2708 S. Rife Medical Lane, but in Suite 300. Miller earned a Doctor of Medicine from Uni- versity of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine in Omaha. He completed a residency and chief residency in internal medicine at Meth- odist Healthcare University Hospital in Memphis and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Univer- sity of Tennessee Health Science Center in Mem- phis. He is board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Addi- tionally, he served as a captain in the Medical Corps of the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Prior to join- ing Mercy, Miller practiced at Gastro One in Ger- mantown, Tenn. Devaki earned degrees in medicine and sur- gery from Gandhi Medical College in Hyder- abad, India. He earned a Master of Science in clinical nutrition from Texas Woman’s Univer- sity in Denton, Tex. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Wayne State University/ Detroit Medical Center in Detroit and a fellow- ship in gastroenterology/hepatology at Cleveland Clinic. He is board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
