Caldwell, the new associate dean of academic affairs in the College of Pharmacy, was one of 24 members of college faculty chosen nationwide for the program. The association’s Leadership Fellows Program supports the development of leaders in academic pharmacy and higher education. From October of 2017 until recently, Caldwell was director of assessment and faculty develop- ment in the college. He is an associate professor in the college’s Department of Pharmacy Practice. He was an associate professor of clinical sciences and director of professional affairs at the Univer- sity of Louisiana-Monroe (ULM) School of Phar- macy from 2014 - 2017. In 2007, Caldwell completed a residency in ambulatory care and academia at the ULM School of Pharmacy and earned a doctorate in pharmacy there in 2006. ReneeWarford, MD, Joins the CHI St. Vincent Urology Clinic in Hot Springs CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs welcomes Renee Warford, MD, as its first female urologist to the team at the CHI St. Vincent Urology Clinic. Warford will begin seeing patients at the clinic located at 1 Mercy Lane, Suite 200A. “We are honored to welcome Dr. Warford to the CHI St. Vincent Urology Clinic in Hot Springs,” said CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs President Doug Ross, MD. “Her addition is a step forward in our commitment to being the foremost urology prac- tice in Southwest Arkansas.” After receiving a master’s degree from Missis- sippi College, Warford attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she also completed an internship in gen- eral surgery and residency training in urology. The CHI St. Vincent Urology Clinic special- izes in urological care and treatment of condi- tions such as bladder disease, kidney stones, uri- nary disorders, urinary incontinence, and sexual dysfunction. Local Health Units Extend Hours on Tuesdays Local Health Units across Arkansas will stay open later on Tuesdays so that services includ- ing flu vaccinations and COVID-19 tests are avail- able after normal business hours. The health units, which are located in every county in the state, will now be open between 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. on Tuesdays. “Local Health Units play a critical role in improv- ing the health and well-being of Arkansans,” said Cassie Cochran, the director of ADH’s Center for Local Public Health. “We hope this change makes the units more accessible and allows more Arkan- sans to take advantage of the available services.” Flu vaccinations are offered on a walk-in basis, and no appointment is necessary. Appointments should be made for COVID-19 tests by calling ahead to the unit. Other clinical services available at health units include Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), family health, sexually transmitted infection screening and services, and immunization appointments. Anudeep Surendranath, MD, Joins the CHI St. Vincent Neurology Clinic in Hot Springs Anudeep Surendranath, MD, has joined the growing team of neurologists at the CHI St. Vin- cent Neurology Clinic in Hot Springs.
