As I have learned more about my personal heroes, I have found that many of them have had setbacks in their lives, and chances to give up on their goals. However, each one persevered, and often, if not always, credited the setbacks for their success. As I get older, I seem to appreciate the word perseverance and value its true meaning more and more. By definition, perseverance is, “steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.” In my opinion, this pretty much defines the two obstacles that stand between you and success—difficulty and delay. Making the Impossible POSSIBLE with Perseverance The difference between success and failure hangs in the balance between what happens and what you decide to do about it.
