The ded- ication of Dr. David Dean, Paula Sargent, APRN, and the entire team is truly remarkable, and we are excited for the recognition of their efforts in pro- viding exceptional care to our patients.” CHI St. Vincent Wound Care Clinics are diag- nostic and therapeutic centers designed to offer highly specialized wound care to patients suffer- ing from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infec- tions, and other chronic wounds which have not healed in a reasonable amount of time. Leading edge treatments available include negative pres- sure wound therapy, bio-engineered tissues, bio- synthetic dressings, and growth factor therapies. The Center also offers hyperbaric oxygen ther- apy, which works by surrounding the patient with 100 percent oxygen to help progress the healing of the wound. “This award recognizes the incredible work of our staff and leadership as well as their commit- ment to CHI St. Vincent’s healing ministry and mission to deliver compassionate care four our communities,” said Dr. David Dean of the CHI St. Vincent Wound Care Center. Physicians, leaders and clinicians gathered August 22 to celebrate the award. APRN joins Conway Regional Medical Clinic-Prince St. Rhonda Dixon, an advanced practice regis- tered nurse, is now a part of Conway Regional Health System. Dixon joins Adam Cox, MD, John Dobbs, MD, and Meghan Mallett, APRN, at Con- way Regional Medical Clinic-Prince St. Dixon is an alumna of the University of Central Arkansas, where she achieved a Master’s degree in Nursing. She has worked as a provider at CHI St. Vincent’s Interfaith Clinic in Conway for the past five years. “Rhonda’s experience and dedication to her patients make her a wonderful asset to our team,” said Rebekah Fincher, chief administrative officer for Conway Regional. “Her addition will help us to serve more patients in our local community, and we look forward to the quality of care she will bring to Conway Regional.” Rhonda Dixon, APRN The CHI St. Vincent Wound Care Center has received the Center of Distinction Award presented by Healogics.
