Hill Primary funding sources are state gen- eral revenue, Medicaid (primarily from ado- lescent patients), and Medicare. Insurance reimbursement is a relatively smaller fund- ing stream due to forensic case load, and the chronic nature of many of our patients’ pathology. Editor Arkansas State Hospital has gone through several name changes since its inception, including Arkansas Lunatic Asylum and Arkansas State Hospital for Nervous Diseases. With this in mind, how have mental health services changed over the years? Hill The change in names has more to do with the prevailing accepted terminology at the time, than any change in mission. Since What was once generally a one size fits all model for treatment, is now diversified through the utilization of both independently licensed professionals and behavioral health agencies who offer comprehensive home and community-based services.
